1. Who we are

getrev.app is operated by Joistic Technologies ("we", "our", or "us"). This policy describes how we handle personal information when you use our website and services.

2. Information we collect

Business users (accounts). When you sign in or create an account, we collect information needed to run the product, including:

• Account identifiers from your sign-in method (for example, Google sign-in or phone authentication via Firebase Authentication), such as email address, display name, phone number, and a unique user ID
• Business and location details you provide or connect, such as business name, category, Google Maps / review links, optional logo URL, brand colour, WhatsApp number, address, and preferences for review drafts (tone, length, focus areas, keywords)

Customers who scan your QR codes. We log product analytics events (for example, page views, selected experience tags, when review drafts are generated or copied, and when someone opens Google or WhatsApp from the flow). These records are tied to your location and QR code in our systems, not to named individuals, unless someone chooses to leave a message we store.

Private feedback. If a customer submits feedback through the product (including optional text and sentiment), we store that content so you can view and manage it in the dashboard.

Support and communications. If you email us, we keep the correspondence and associated details needed to respond.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

• Provide, operate, and secure getrev.app (accounts, locations, QR links, dashboards, analytics)
• Generate AI-assisted review drafts when a customer uses that feature, using the context they and you provide (business name, tags, optional notes, and your configured preferences)
• Improve and troubleshoot the service, and send operational or support messages where appropriate
• Comply with law and enforce our terms

4. AI processing

Review-draft generation is powered by OpenAI's API. Content sent for generation may include business name, category, customer-selected tags, optional free-text notes, and your review-style settings. Do not submit sensitive personal data in fields intended for public reviews. OpenAI processes data under its own terms and policies as a service provider to us.

5. Service providers and third parties

We use trusted infrastructure and vendors to run the service, including:

• Google Firebase(authentication, cloud database, and related hosting) — see Google's privacy documentation for how Firebase handles data
• OpenAI for AI review-draft generation

When customers follow links to Google Maps, Google reviews, or WhatsApp, those services apply their own privacy policies. We do not control their practices.

6. Retention and security

We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

7. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can manage much of your account and location data inside the product; for other requests, email contact@joistic.com. We will respond in line with applicable law.

8. Children

getrev.app is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). If you believe we have done so, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated through the product or by email where appropriate.
